Foreign transport and logistic company in Moscow is looking for Area Project Development Manager to assure best operational performance and preparation and control of major multitask projects in the Area and to ensure profitability of projects, operational excellence and customer satisfaction. The job consists of 3 components: Operational escalation and coordination, Product Development and Project portfolio development.
Basic Functions
• Development of the Project concept in the Area, routing analysis and cost comparison
• Responsible for preparation and start-up execution of key projects, preparation of routing plans, handling instructions and procedures, risk analysis, logistic execution plans, method statements, interaction plans and reporting structures
• Coordinates local cross-functional issues/conflicts related to operation, between the business units
• Tender Management support
• Monitor the company’s competitive position with costs and prices from subcontractors in the market place
Educational background and work experience:
• Higher educational level
• Working experience (minimum 5 years)
• Language skills: Fluent in English , local language (AZE, KAZ and etc. ) would be of advantage
Functional requirements:
• Cross functional know-how (Operations )
• Administrative competence
Management skills:
• Able to coordinate cross-functional interfaces (Sales, Marketing and etc. )
• Organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign and control)
