Technical / Business Skills: Basic electrical engineering skills as per basic functions.
Interpersonal Skills: The candidate will be a keen learner will be motivated to improve self and to accept tuition from the senior team members. Good oral and written communication will be required in communicating to both the design group and the electrical engineering discipline.
Business & Industry Experience: The candidate will have a minimum of five years experience of an electrical engineering environment and additional experience of the oil & gas industry would be an advantage, although experience in other related industries such as pharmaceuticals, chemicals, manufacturing, marine construction, etc would be considered.
Educational Attainments: A degree or local equivalent in electrical engineering is mandatory. A second degree in another engineering subject (i. e. instrumentation) or project management would be an advantage.
To provide basic electrical engineering expertise including:
• Develop Electrical System Design Philosophy
• Compilation/revision to electrical load lists
• Fault analysis, Load flow studies & calculations
• Electrical system modifications/optimization
• Development of Power Distribution Scheme, Specification of electrical equipment including generators, transformers, HV & LV Switchboards, Motor Control Centers, distribution boards, cables, cables supports, motors, heaters, junction boxes, DC and AC UPS Systems, Variable speed motor controllers etc
• Cable sizing, trace heating and lighting calculations
• Cable routing design
• Electrical Protection settings and coordination
• Selection of hazardous area equipment
• UPS sizing calculations
Foreign company is looking for Electrical Engineer. This work is based on permanent employment condition in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (Sakhalin 1, 2 projects). Company provides employee and his family mobilization to the project and other good social benefits.
